1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Pancake Subtitle Tools, available at https://www.subtitletools.xyz. By using the site, signing in, uploading files, redeeming a license key, or buying AI credits, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
The site provides subtitle translation, transcription, editing, timing, cleanup, validation, reading-speed checks, and subtitle format conversion tools. Browser-only tools process files on your device. AI tools may send subtitle text, audio, or video data to AI processing services so results can be generated.
3. Accounts
Some features require signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity that happens through your account on our site. We may limit or suspend access if we detect abuse, automation that harms the service, payment fraud, or behavior that violates these terms.
4. AI Credits and Payments
AI subtitle translation and transcription use credits. Credit pricing, estimated usage, and redemption instructions are shown on the Pricing page. Payments are processed by Payhip or another payment provider listed at checkout. A license key can be redeemed only once. Credits remain in your account until used unless the account is closed for abuse or fraud.
5. Refunds and Billing Issues
Refund requests, duplicate purchases, failed redemptions, and disputed credit charges are handled under our Refund Policy. Contact us promptly if you believe credits were consumed by mistake or a license key does not work.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the site to upload or process content that is illegal, abusive, malicious, privacy-invasive, or intended to harm others. You may not attempt to bypass usage limits, attack the service, scrape it in a way that harms availability, or use stolen payment information or license keys.
7. Your Content
You keep ownership of the files and text you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that content and return results to you. You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload, translate, transcribe, or convert the content you provide.
8. AI Output and Accuracy
AI translation and transcription results may contain mistakes, omissions, formatting issues, or inaccurate timestamps. Review results before publishing, distributing, or relying on them, especially for names, technical terms, legal text, medical text, financial text, jokes, and culturally specific phrases.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how uploaded files are handled, and how to contact us about privacy requests.
10. Service Availability
We try to keep the site reliable, but service may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party provider outages, browser limits, network failures, or changes to AI services. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when needed.
